The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps eligible households across Southeast Georgia keep the power on.

What LIHEAP can do

LIHEAP is a federally funded program that helps low-income households pay for home energy — heating in the winter and cooling in the summer. Action Pact administers LIHEAP for families across our 18-county service area.

How to apply

    Schedule an appointment

    Appointments are booked online through our scheduling system — the fastest way to get seen.

    Bring your documents

    Bring proof of income, a photo ID, your energy bill, and Social Security cards for your household.

  • 3

    Meet with our LIHEAP team

    A caseworker will review your application and let you know what assistance you qualify for.
